Hannah’s Road to Recovery

Our family would like to thank everyone for all of the outpouring love and support we have received during this terrible time. There is no assortment of words that can describe the love we all feel, just know it is appreciated and doesn’t go unnoticed. You never realize how delicate and fragile life really is until someone you love comes close to losing theirs.

My sweet, free spirited baby sister found herself in this situation yesterday. Friday, September 24th, our world took a very scary turn. Hannah was caught in the wrong place at the wrong time. She has sustained a lot of severe injuries, and even though we would love for everyone to be included in these tough times, Hannahs privacy is what matters most to us and we want to protect it as much as we can. Updates will of course come with time but we want to focus on her well being and keep everything positive for her.

Hannah has a difficult path ahead of her, we want to make this transition period as smooth as possible. She needs all the love and support that she can get as we move forward. For our mom (Melissa Wallace) and step dad, this means they need all the help they can get. Our mom (Melissa) has always been our superhero but she can’t be at two places at once. She will have to take time off of work, which takes money away from the family. This is going to be very hard but being able to focus on Hannah’s recovery and future is so important to our family, leaving any monetary stresses out of the equation. These are tough times but it won’t last forever. Hannah is a very strong and driven young lady and she will get through this. We are so lucky to have her here with us today, we thank you all for all of the support.

Any donations are greatly appreciated. Our family will be faced with a lot of bills (medical, transportation, hotel, food, etc) throughout Hannah’s long road of recovery, and that is something I don’t want my mom to worry about. Again, thank you to everyone for the outpouring of love and support.
