Major had his surgery! Goals almost met!!

Hi, my name is Major. I'm a seven-year and four-month-old white German Shepherd. I'm a service dog. Many of you may have seen me in downtown Gloucester, at the beaches, or at doctor's offices as I accompany my mum around all of the time. I love to swim, chase balls, and walk in the woods and on the beach. My mum doesn't like to go anywhere without me! Sadly, I tore my cruciate ligament in my hind knee. I need surgery to repair it. The good news it the local vet can do it. The bad news is my mom is disabled and doesn't have the income to pay for the surgery I need. Can you help? I'd very much appreciate your help as I'd like to run, play, swim and be with my mum a lot more. Thank you!

I now have had surgery and in recovery I have had my first short walk and one brief swim. It’s slow recovering, but I am doing it. Funds that may happen now will go to laser treatments for pain…. And his remaining vet bill. We are almost past this. Hod willing majors record is going as it should. He seems to be making progress. Thank you everyone.
