Help My Family Survive This War

Introduction:

We are a family of 6 people; father, mother, and 3 young girls, and a young boy. We all wanted to live a life of peace and calm after we have settled in our new apartment home.

All of that has changed forever on the day of October 7th, 2023. We woke up to a barrage of huge explosions, our children were in immense fear, and we knew that a war has started, and that destruction and demise is coming our way as a result of that.

From day one we fled our hometown of Beit Hanoun to Gaza City and have become displaced. But the bombs followed everywhere we went, with no true 'safe' place to settle.

We were displaced several times, from Beit Hanoun to Gaza City, from Gaza City to Khan Younis, from Khan Younis to Rafah, from Rafah to Deir Al-Balah, from Deir Al-Balah back to Khan Younis. We suffered all types of terrible conditions; lack of clean water, famine, disease, loss of family members, loss of our homes and places of living, and everything in between. Life has become hell on earth in Gaza, just like it has become the same for the rest of the people of Gaza.

We have escaped death many times, and we are barely surviving and living. We barely have enough to feed ourselves and our children, and provide the basic necessities of food, water, shelter, and medicine. Our kids are suffering immense psychological and mental trauma as a result of this war, our daughters constantly wake up at night screaming in fear, even if there is no bombing currently happening, all because of deeply this war has left a mental scar on them and their mental health.

Currently, the situation in Gaza is only getting worse, with Israel effectively blocking off all humanitarian aid and basically anything from getting into Gaza. This has led to the prices of food, water, and any good to skyrocket out of control. We were already struggling as is to provide anything for ourselves, let alone now with the insane increase in prices, we truly need support now more than any other time. Unfortunately, the situation is always ever-evolving, unstable, and unpredictable; we do not know what the future holds for us and for the people of Gaza in general. Our hope is always for things to get better, but it seems like the brutal genocidal war-machine that is Israel has no intention of making things better anytime in the future.

Until now, the suffering continues, and it is only getting worse and worse as Israel continues its slaughter, genocide, and full unleashing of its war machine against a helpless population and people who simply want to live normally like the rest of the world.

Which is why we are requesting your help and support, we simply want to live, any money donated will all go towards providing ourselves the necessary needs to live and survive from food to water to medicine to shelter, and anything in between.
