Sean’s Brain Surgery
Around 12am on Oct. 30, 2020 Christina, Sean’s wife, woke up to Sean having a seizure. As Sean has never had a seizure before, they called 911. Once Sean’s seizure was over. He was rushed to the ER, where it was determined that he had just had a grand mal seizure. After many tests they discovered he has what is known as Cavernoma. Cavernoma is a cluster of abnormal blood vessels. These are located generally in the brain or spinal cord.
After this diagnosis, they were then left with two decisions. He can he either leave it in there be on medication, and always risk having another seizure or stroke. Or he can have it removed. Because the risks are much lower having it removed was his decision.
He is having surgery on January 6, 2021. He has to quarantine before hand, then can not work for 6 weeks after. He is the sole provider for him and his family. His wife is a stay at home mom. They have four children. With the cost of surgery and normal monthly bills. Sean and Christina need as much help as they can get.
