Devastating loss of family home

Hi, my name is Devin.

On 05/16/2025, my dad and I lost the home we’ve lived in our entire lives to a house fire. In just a matter of hours, everything we had—our clothes, furniture, tools, memories—was gone. This house wasn’t just a place to live. It was the only home I’ve ever known.

While insurance will help with some of the loss, it doesn’t come close to covering everything. Right now, we’re trying to get back on our feet—finding a place to stay, replacing basic necessities, and figuring out how to move forward. It’s overwhelming, and something I never thought I’d have to ask for, but I could really use some help.

I’m setting this goal at $10,000 to help cover:

    •    Temporary housing and daily expenses

    •    Clothes, personal items, and essentials

    •    Replacing things insurance doesn’t cover

    •    Any unexpected costs during this time
