Todd's Fight Against Cancer

My name is Mike, and I have been friends with Todd for more than 30years. Todd is a loyal best friend, husband and father. Words cannot describe how saddened I was when we found out that Todd was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. Todd had been working his job in food services at Baystate Springfield Hospital in Massachusetts. He started feeling some intense pain in his kidneys. With God looking out for Todd, he knew to get help immediately. They admitted him with fears that he was having kidney failure. They added an exterior stent to relieve the kidney pressure. Once the kidney was under control, they started looking for the cause. He had inflamed lymph nodes that restricted his kidneys from functioning properly. When doctors shared the news that they had found 7 golf ball-sized lesions in his lungs, Todd and his family were crushed. But all Todd wanted was to see his boy. Even though Ethan is only 5 years old and has no idea what is happening, he surely knows he is loved.
