Support Barbara in Her Time of Need

Barbara has battled advanced kidney cancer since 2019. She faces several other medical issues, needs help with mobility, and requires ongoing care. 

With no remaining savings, she is on the verge of being removed from her assisted living facility, and she has mounting expenses. 

We are applying for Utah’s New Choice Waiver program, which is an extension of Medicaid. This could provide the long-term care and stability she desperately needs—but approval may take 3 to 4 months. In the meantime, Barbara has nowhere to turn. Her family has helped all they can but is also facing serious medical and financial burdens of their own.

Barbara is gentle, kind, and quietly faithful. She has endured far more than her share of trials, including the loss of her immediate family members—except for her dear sister Janet. Janet has carried the heaviest of burdens and lost her husband Gene unexpectedly on Tuesday. 

Barbara needs our help.
