Hi,  my name is Gavin Fisher.  I have 4 special kids and a loving partner.  It's their love and support that has got me this far the next step is a stem cell transplant which I have booked for next week.
But due to financial pressure I am considering not going ahead with it and instead returning to work to catch up on some very outstanding bills. 
I have been battling cancer since December 2013 and in this time Centrelink has failed us.  It took 3 months to get any support from them at all and the best they would do is newstart with a medical exemption and as you all know newstart does not go far.  I have a full time job waiting for my return so this position we find ourselves in is temporary.
My partner homeschools our 2 boys one with Autism and the other Aspergers.  Our eldest girl has Autism as well and attends kinder 2 days a week.  So this combined with a needy 20 mth old baby she is run off her feet.  I don't want to leave them for up to 6 weeks to get the transplant and have debt collectors and utilities adding extra pressure to her already overloaded life. 
I do this as a last resort those that know me will tell you I never ask for help and often help others out but I have no where else to turn.  I fully  intend to repay any one that helps us out if they want me to.
