G and Richi Conquer Ireland!

Donation protected
This May, myself (G!), the effervescent Riccardo Mondavi and 50 other cyclists, will cycle 653km from Ireland's most Southerly point in Mizen Head in Cork, to Ireland's most Northerly point, Malin Head in Donegal.

Taking in some of the island's most spectacular scenery from Caha Pass, Moll's Gap, The Burren, the hard shoulder of the N17, and finally onto Ireland's largest peninsula, Inishowen, before hitting the finishing point at Malin head; all while generating support for those living with sight loss and families of children with autism.

Now in it's 21st year, this annual cycle has been raising much needed funds for the Irish Guide Dogs for the Blind, all thanks to our fearless leader Eamonn Linnane, who started this initiative in memory of his late father, Paddy Linnane, a Guide Dog Owner and supporter of Irish Guide Dogs for the Blind. So far, more than €1.3million has been raised for the charity.

This is the only charity cycle of it’s kind that is inclusive of people who are visually impaired and this is what makes the cycle so special for all of us!
