TOP SECRET – If you cannot keep a secret from the Cooper Family stop reading, you know who you are, this is a secret!

To know Alan was to love Alan…Heck even if you didn’t know him well you loved being around him! Because of this love we would like to establish a lasting legacy in his honor.

WE NEED YOUR HELP!

As many of us continue to mourn the loss of Alan Cooper, we have been contemplating ways to honor his memory and the legacy he left in the Chattanooga region through the impact he had on Chattanooga football officiating, the TSSAA, and his work with the UTC Athletic Department and NCAA officials. Discussions with both the Executive Director and Board of Finley Stadium as well as the UTC Athletic Department have led us to an amazing way to honor him…and here is the part where we need your help! We are developing a plan to refurbish, upgrade, and dedicate the G. Alan Cooper, Jr. Officials’ Locker Room at Finley Stadium!

What better way to honor a man we all loved and admired for his dedication to officiating and to the game!

We need your help making this a reality as we have an aggressive goal of $10,000 to reach! Any amount LARGE or small matters and will be put to good use with any leftovers utilized for a scholarship fund in Alan’s honor! The plan is to have the locker room ready to unveil in time for the Best Of Preps Jamboree in August of this year.

Our desire is to surprise the Cooper family with this honor prior to the football season kicking off!

So again, this is a surprise and Secret!!! Shhhh……
