Anyone who knows Zephyr can agree he’s full of life! He’s the best hiking buddy. He loves his walks on the beach and running through the apple orchards. Z loves every single dog he comes into contact with and children are his absolute favorite. The past 11 months of his life have been nothing short of an adventure and his strong soul intends to continue these adventures… Yesterday Zephyr was in a horrible accident and was hit by a massive truck. He went completely under the vehicle and remained pinned under the front tire. Luckily we were there to assist immediately and were able to pick him up, transfer him to the car and drive straight to the nearest emergency vet. Covered in blood from head to toe, this experience was traumatizing to say the least. Z has lost all bone that stabilizes his left paw and also damaged his right. With the amazing help from the doctors we were able to stabilize him but major reconstruction or amputation is require to save Zs life. Please help however which way you can. Anything is appreciated. We will do everything and anything to get Z back on the beach, orchards, mountains, and all his other favorite places that set his soul on fire. Love your animals extra hard and please help us get our boy home.
