Welsh 3000’s challenge
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Lauren! Ste and I will be taking on the challenge of the Welsh 3000’s on Saturday, July 27th.
For those who may not be familiar, the Welsh 3000’s is an epic endurance challenge in the heart of Snowdonia. It involves climbing all 15 peaks in Wales that are over 3000 feet high, covering a distance of about 30 miles with an elevation gain of around 14,000 feet. It's a test of both physical and mental endurance, and we are excited (and a little nervous) to tackle it!
Our motivation goes beyond just the thrill of the climb. My grandad, the Mayor of Mold, has dedicated his term to supporting three local charities: Hope House, Mold Community Gardens, and the Daniel Owen Community Centre. These organisations do invaluable work in our community, from providing care and support to children with life-threatening conditions, to creating green spaces for everyone to enjoy, and fostering community spirit and activities.
We are raising funds to support these charities, and we would be incredibly grateful for any donations.
You can donate directly through this GoFundMe page or via bank transfer directly to Mold Town Council. Every contribution, no matter the size, will make a significant difference.
Thank you so much for your generosity and support.
