On average, a meal will cost $10 per person. The meals will be individually packaged for safety and ease. The more money we raise, the more days we are able to provide meals and the more hospitals we are able to serve.
Our mission began with providing meals to NY Presbyterian - Methodist Hospital in Park Slope. We have been ordering from local Park Slope restaurants to deliver their meals directly to the hospital. We are now in the fortunate position to have raised enough money that we have expanded the mission to other area hospitals, ordering from nearby restaurants. We have raised funds well beyond our wildest imagination, and we are ready to start sharing these funds/meals with other hospitals in need. Once we surpass $100,000, all money that is donated will go to buying food for other local hospitals. We have related fundraisers working on delivering meals to Maimonides, Kings County and SUNY Downstate already, so we will be coordinating with them.

The way our GoFundMe money process and procedures work
GoFundMe collects the money from your generous donations. GoFundMe transfers the money they’ve received, less a small service fee, into a totally segregated personal bank account belonging to Jessica Fields that has been dedicated to this fund raiser. A dedicated and totally segregated credit card in Jessica Fields' name has been assigned to pay the restaurants for all the meals purchased. Proper restaurant receipts and all other appropriate documentation will be received, reviewed and retained. Deliveries of meals to the hospital will be confirmed.
