Help Millie get her bounce back!

Many of you know my dog Millie the Beanz. She is my partner in crime, my best buddy, and basically the closest thing to a child I have. Let's face it, she is my kid. On November 16th she was rushed in for emergency c-section, and she became the proud mama of 8 beautiful babies. Unfortunately, she had to be spayed during the procedure due to complications with overstretching of her uterus from the amount of puppies she has. It was a very scary situation, but she bounced back like a champ and became the great mommy she has always been.
Fast forward to thanksgiving, I am giving her a sponge type bath since she still can't have a full bath until she is fully healed, and as I am wiping down her back, and rather large chunk of hair and skin falls off. Let me say that again, her hair and skin FALLS OFF. Underneath is a grey-ish, bluish looking skin like texture. So back to the vet she goes, and they shave her back to find that most of the skin on her back has gone necrotic (basically the skin has died and is falling off). They want to do surgery immediately to remove the dead tissue, and do so resulting in the picture that is on the cover of this campaign, that we have lovingly nicknamed "zombie dog".
So here is the problem, no one (vets and specialists) has any definite idea as to what is causing this or why it is happening, but it appears to be possibly spreading to another area on her back. She is starting to lose hair, but luckily the tissue underneath is still alive and healthy. So far what we know is that under the tissue removed she has a staphylococcus pseudintermedius infection and enterococcus infection. These are only preliminary results and they want to do a biopsy and send it to a specialist to try and figure out what is going on and try to stop this horribleness from getting worse.
So here is my plee, I need help. I HATE asking for help. But my baby's life is too important for silly pride to get in the way any longer, and at this point my savings is gone, and my credit card is maxed out. I am so terrified that I am going to lose my girl after she has fought through do much already. So far she is in good spirits, is happy to see me, and is still being a kick ass mom to her babies (with lots of help from all of her aunties who come and help bottle feed). I just want my baby back to her normal self and any help in figuring this out would be greatly appreciated!
