Joe "Big Joe" has been battling laryngeal cancer for the past 3 years with multiple reoccurrences and surgeries. For the past 5 weeks, He has been in and out of the hospital at CTCA as well as inpatient rehab recovering from pneumonia and bouts of respiratory distress. This past few weeks has been pretty rough on his body. His body is simply worn out. Today, he transitioned to inpatient hospice at Brightmoor Hospice to help keep him comfortable for his remaining days. He has fought a good fight.
