Hello My name is Ashley and I was diagnosed with PCOS (Poly Cystic Ovarian Syndrome.) I have dealt with the effects of this my whole life but where it really hit home is when Luke and I wanted to have a family!

May 2016, We started our journey to become parents and we are six years into our journey. It has not been easy, as infertility is NEVER easy. It has been a long road for us thus far.... 1 failed IUI Cycle, 1 failed IVF cycle, 1 successful IVF cycle (that led to 2 healthy embryos), one embryo transfer (that led to a pregnancy in 10/2021) which was followed by a miscarriage at 9 weeks. We have one more baby frozen and waiting on us!

We were made aware of a bill that insurance was not going to pick up just days before our last transfer which we are currently working to pay off... because 3 days to pay off $4k would have been impossible after already being out thousands for the transfer up to that point!

I started medication 3/5 to start the frozen embryo transfer process again. I did all the blood work (which came back great) It also ruled out a rare auto immune disorder that thought I may have!! Then we received our bill that would need to be paid before we could move forward. Unfortunately, we just don’t have any way to come up with what they are requiring, so we have put our dreams of being a mom and dad on hold while we explore other financial options.

This was the last thing we wanted to resort to although, I know these sources are out here for a reason. It hurts my heart to even ask for any financial support. We are making this since we have friends and family who have asked us how they can help support our journey.
