19 year old Landon Watkins, is a former Wildcat football player and graduated high school from Sulphur Springs in 2015. On Decemeber 3rd his life took an unexpected turn when his blood count dropped down to a 5, a normal blood count should be at 11-15. He was transferred to Baylor Hospitial where he remained for 16 days getting tests and treatments. He has been diagnosed with Autoimmune Hemolytic Anemia, which means his immune system is destroying its red blood cells. Treatments include steroid shots weekly and even chemo treatments which give him blood to build back up his red blood cell count. Since being released December 23rd he has now been readmitted to the hospital. All of these medicinal treatments are extremely costly such as one bag of chemo treatment he receives is $12,000. After Landon's lengthy stay in the Cancer & Hemoglobin Wing of Baylor Hospital, he was touched by the children suffering from cancer. returned home and cut his hair to donate to Locks of Love. This shows how big of a heart Landon has so please open your heart and  help the Watkins fight this battle and heal Landon. Any donations are greatly appreciated. Thank you so much for your help and contribution.
