Let's fast forward, in April of 2018, after months of being so sick to the point that she could not even hold down broth, several ER visits, scans and tests that were not able to identify the problem she had an exploratory surgery. It was after this procedure that the doctors located a tumor in pelvis that was well hidden and couldn't be detected on previous tests and scans. Due to the location of the tumor and the fatal risks involved including potentially wakening more cancer cells the doctors were not able to remove the tumor. The tumor is blocking her colon and she now has a colostomy bag. After undergoing 6 rounds of brutally taxing chemo, the doctors believed that her tumor had shrunk and that she'd be able to remove the colostomy bag. Jessica went in for another exploratory surgery, only to find that this disgusting disease has significantly spread. She not only has the tumor in her pelvis, but the cancer has spread to her colon and stomach. She has not been able to eat for over a month has lost over 50 pounds. But when I tell you that this girl has fight and spirit I mean it!!! Doctors have said that she will need chemo EVERY DAY for 5 days in a row, the following week she would have hydration, then 1 week off, then right back to another 5 days of chemo. This was not an option for Jessica, so with hope and faith she traveled to Mexico in search of a natural alternative. The doctors ran tests and scans only to tell her that her liver and kidneys are failing and there's not much they can do for her in form of treating the cancer; they recommended she see a specialist immediately, however, they did give her a crazy clean diet to follow along with some supplements. With all hope completely crushed she traveled back tot he US. Hospice is now coming to her home as needed and they have started her on oxygen. She is still unable to eat or drink, and vomits most of anything she ingests.
After everything that she has gone thru this beautiful soul still greets you with the biggest smile you've ever seen. She was blessed to marry the love of her life on Aug 4th, 2018, they never imagined that they would ever have to endure such pain and suffering as they have now. Jessica has a 15 year old son and Oscar has an 11 year old son, they wanted more than anything to have a child together. Rather than planning their future they are doing their best to nurture her. The family is now in a critical financial bind as they prepare for the final chapter.
We appreciate it if you could support Oscar and Jessica in this transition with a donation and also if you could please share this with your friends and family.
THANK YOU in advance for your generosity!!
