Help Cooper Keep His Leg

This is Cooper. He is a young, male hound mix who we found hobbling around in the road late last Friday night - he was lost, scared, and in pain. We looked for his owners for days, posting him on Facebook, going door to door, and hanging up flyers. We heard nothing. After taking Cooper to the vet, they found that his right hip was broken, and he needs to have the femoral cap removed so he can stop being in pain. This surgery would cost 3,200 dollars and we are doing the best we can, but some extra help would mean the world to us and Cooper. If we give him up to animal shelters they would just amputate his leg :(

Coopie is such a sweet young man, and we would love to see him be able to play on all fours - he’s got a lot of dog years ahead of him after all! Please consider helping him!
(Below is the estimate from the vet we are getting the surgery done at) - also, of course, if not enough is raised for the surgery, all the money will go to the amputation surgery and any excess on his vaccinations :)
