TheatreWorks: "HVAC on a Hot Thin Roof"

It wasn't supposed to last 27 years. No secondhand HVAC is.

But deep inside the heart of this workhorse -- hardened by blistering Memphis summers and hard-freezing winter storms -- resided a theater fan. Literally.

TheatreWorks now raises a plastic cup of cheap wine to our dearly departed HVAC.

As we hold national auditions for another gently-used behemoth, we need your help with this major expense. Our building is home to a dozen small-but-mighty theater companies. To keep their production costs low, we must turn to our supporters for this costly replacement.

Please help TheatreWorks restore a dignified air to our building, as sweating profusely during "Cat on a Hot Tin Roof," or getting frostbite while watching "A Winter's Tale," is a form of naturalism we can all do without.
