On Friday our wonderful Cook Michelle slipped and fell on the way to work. She worked through her shift thinking everything was okay. Monday morning she was still in so much pain that she asked to be off and go in. We are so thankful that she did! She had 2 cracked ribs and other medical issues. Myself and Kassi went to visit her Wednesday morning to bring her a little gift basket and conversation. Her daughter Amanda showed up for self care, and we both left feeling hopeful. This morning unfortunately Michelle was taken by ambulance. She is on a ventilator and intubated and being admitted to the ICU. Please friends, whatever you can help with for her medical expenses, her family would appreciate it! We adore her. She’s kind, giving, and helpful. We just want her to come home.
