John Self was involved in a critical motorcycle crash. Another motorist struck John on a highway in Texas, leaving John with critical injuries. John sustained a brain bleed, head and facial trauma, and a broken pelvis. John will have a long and difficulty journey on his road to recovery. John's father, Captain John Self of Farmersville Fire Dept in California ia a long time public servant to the community. He also works as an EMT for the Exeter Distric Ambulance. Captain Self has always been there for others in their time of need and personal tragedy. Captain Self always gives to others and is the first ask "what can i do to help?" So now its our turn to rally togeather and help him and his family like Captain Self has done for countless otheres. As co-workers, friends and family wer recognize him in his time of need. The injuries his son sustained can not be undone but we can certainly take some of the financial burden away so a true selfless public servant can receive the same support he has given to so many in their time of need. Johns mother Ann will remain in Texas to help with is recovery. The money will be used to pay for medical, living and travel expenses. Thank you.
