Bring Me Home to Stay!

Hey all! I need to get home to the Pacific Northwest (or at least the West). Love ya, Northeast, but I need my back-home-friends and family. I had a great job here, but unfortunately, I've had to admit that the organization/management and I do not share the same values about some really important things. I've decided I'd rather seek out a healthier situation for myself. And I'd love for that situation to be back home.
Thing is, it costs a fortune to get oneself and one's meager things from one coast to another, even after living as a minimalist. It's a bit of a surprise that I'm making the move now, instead of when I'd had some time to plan, and that's why I'm reaching out for help.
I figure putting out a small ask from a lot of you will mean I won't have to put a big ask to any of you. I hate that I'm not prepared for this move, but I don't hate that soon I'll be closer to my friends and family, and the PLACE that is in my marrow.
THE PLAN:
Head to Scottsdale, Arizona where I have some housing. I can enjoy the warm sun while planning my new life. I'll apply for Jobs in the Pacific Northwest and Tucson. I'll end up settled (finally) someplace near my people. And no matter where I end up, I'm coming to Port Townsend in early April for Doug's Memorial and to say a long-overdue hello to my beloved friends in my adopted hometown. I've missed you guys!
HOW WILL I GET THERE?
Towing a U-Haul Trailer behind my Subaru.
COST?
Trailer and hitch: $750
Estimated gasoline: $600
3,000 plus-minus miles / plus-minus 20 miles to the gallon
150 gallons...let's round up ... $2.75/gallon: about $600.
Housing costs: $600
Six nights of housing, though looking at hostels and couch surfing as well, and cheaper hotels. And who knows, maybe I'll push on through one or two of the days, save some time and money.
Food Etc.: $150
Total: $2,100
ANYTHING you can give is welcome and will help, including just sending me advice on places to stop, places to stay, driving tips, music playlists, podcasts, people to meet, etc. But if you can spare a dime or two, that will also help a lot.
BONUS: I'd love to take film footage of the drive and if anyone has a GoPro they can lend me, I'd love to take advantage of it to create a little film each night of my trip. Let me know and I'll get you a good address to send it.
Thanks to you all.
Best, and see you soon!

also, I admit the photo I chose is old. Really old. Really really old. But I love it because in it I'm not really old. Really really old. No kidding. (Sort of.) No, I love it because it was such a fun night with my niece a zillion years ago and reminds me of family. :-)
