Nicky’s Facial Feminization Surgery

Nicky is a young woman living and working in NYC. She began her gender transition several years ago and is looking forward to FFS (facial feminization surgery). While she does have a full time job and health insurance, unfortunately many gender affirming/necessary surgeries are not currently covered under even the best insurance providers and the cost to access is extremely expensive.

Therefore Nicky is looking to the community to help with financial support so she can access this necessary surgery to continue living her fullest life.

The purpose of this page is to raise funds to cover the cost of the surgery as well as cover the time off of work and healing support needed for recovery. The cost of the surgery is 20k, and the recovery would span over a timeline of 2-3 months which means Nicky would not be working or having income and would also need extra support in the form of home nurse aids and grocery delivery/food prep. The additional 10k would be to cover these costs and any other unforeseen expenses that come her way.
