Support Daniel’s Recovery After Traumatic Worksite Accident

Dear family, friends, and kind-hearted supporters,

I never imagined I’d be writing this, but I’m reaching out today with a heavy heart and a humble request for help.

On Monday afternoon, Daniel was seriously injured in a horrific worksite accident

We are incredibly grateful that he survived—by the grace of God—but his road to recovery will be long and uncertain.

As many of you know, I just returned to work from maternity leave after giving birth to our beautiful baby girl, Mía. I was working at Cristo Rey Health Clinic when I got the call from Daniel that something had gone terribly wrong. I dropped everything and rushed to be by his side.

Daniel is the primary provider for our family. With a toddler and a 3-month-old at home, and Daniel expected to be out of work for months, we’re in need of help to cover basic living expenses—such as groceries, diapers, and essentials for our children—so we don’t fall behind while focusing on Daniel’s healing.

Querida familia, amigos y comunidad de buen corazón,

Nunca imaginé tener que escribir esto, pero hoy les pido ayuda con el corazón en la mano.

El lunes por la tarde, Daniel sufrió graves heridas en un accidente laboral

Estamos profundamente agradecidos con Dios de que Daniel haya sobrevivido, pero su camino hacia la recuperación será largo e incierto.

Como muchos saben, acabo de regresar al trabajo luego de mi descanso de maternidad por el nacimiento de nuestra hija Mía. Estaba trabajando en la clínica de Cristo Rey cuando recibí la llamada de Daniel diciendo que había tenido un accidente. Dejé todo y corrí a su lado.

Daniel es el principal proveedor económico de nuestra familia. Con un niño pequeño y una bebé de 3 meses en casa, y sabiendo que él no podrá trabajar durante varios meses, necesitamos ayuda urgente para mantenernos a flote.

Nuestro objetivo es recaudar para cubrir gastos básicos como comida, pañales y necesidades esenciales para nuestros hijos mientras nos enfocamos en la recuperación de Daniel.
