The Unexpected Turn

Donation protected

Ashleigh is my hero. I had the honor of being by her side, sharing the most sacred of intimacies during the process of bringing their precious son, Theodore into the world.

I witnessed the phenomenon of being empowered, holding this brave woman named Ashleigh in my arms. She prepared herself for this moment by
facing her fears on all levels. I have never seen such maturity come from a mother to be, much less a fist-time mother. As I have been around some
courageous women.

In the last seven days this young woman has taught me lessons, where, I have gleaned the unexpected. Knowing this 'girl next door', Danny and
Conner's babysitter for 10 years, aka big sister, I now know is a warrior.

I have never witnessed such continual expressed gratitude, which honestly comes form an integral heart. A heart,  a consciousnesses that has
embellished  Grace. It goes beyond a grateful heart, whispering intrinsically through the tapestry of her being.

In the midst, an unforeseen tragedy, shattered their hearts wide open.

During the birthing process, Theo could not get out despite many pushes, and an emergency C Section was performed.  The process did not go well
for Theo. They're not sure how long he was without oxygen to his brain, but it severely injured him to the point where he had little function.
His condition worsened despite treatment and the expertise of the extraordinary resident staff.

January 29th at 7:30 pm, Theo passed away in Ashleigh's arms.
They are so grateful to have spent a couple days with him. During excruciating pain, they believe God still has a plan for them .

Jason had dedicated his life the last 5 years to campus ministry at Central Washington University and Skagit Valley College, pouring his passion, love and joy into the students.

He has currently been looking for employment, and in hopes to land something soon.

To encourage the ability to grieve for a few moments in supporting his wife, and conquering unforeseen expenses including funeral coasts, I am putting out a fleece to their friends, family  an community they love deeply, to help support them in the tangible expression of financial assistance.

I am beyond grateful for any support you can contribute during their time of need.
