Hi friends and family,

I wanted to share that my sister-in-law, Courtney, was recently diagnosed with breast cancer. She is currently undergoing treatment, and while insurance is helping cover many of the medical expenses, there are still daily costs and unexpected needs that add up quickly.

To show support, I’ve started training with a friend who will be participating in a cancer walk in Connecticut this October. On that same day — Saturday, October 4th—I’ll be walking 26.2 miles here in Vermont. I’ll share the route soon in case anyone would like to join me for part of the journey.
