Alzheimer's Patient Family In Need.

In 2014 my father was diagnosed with the dementia at a young age. He was self employed and not able to work or drive anymore so therefore we had to close his business.  Our lives changed dramatically in about 4 weeks from initial consultation with the neurologist. My father was very active and out going in the community with fundraising and charities with the local car clubs. He loves classic cars. He has been deteriorating rapidly, and has a lot of anxiety especially when there is a lot of people around. My mother has struggled to pay bills, and is just barely making it by. My brother and I have given as much financial support as we can. She herself has had her hours reduced at work to 24 hours a week. Right now if she retires at 63, she will not get enough from from social security to survive and if my father goes to a nursing facility they will take his social security, leaving my mother helpless.
My father is not able to be left alone at this point.  My family can not afford for a private duty nurse.  Home health can only help for short time.  I am trying to raise funds to help my mother pay off the remainder of their mortgage or to pay for any medical care. My father was recently hospitalized and has been in there for a week now.  I feel that I might have made the wrong decision to take him to the hospital now, once you take someone with dementia or any mental unstableness it is very hard to get them back home.  He wants to come home. My heart hurts so bad now......  my family had been through so much in the past two years. UPDATE:My dad is home from the hospital, but now my mother is not able to return to work now.... I feel helpless as well as trying to keep myself sane with all that has happened. We can not afford to have him placed in a facility either. They do not take private insurance. We don't have $7000.00-$10,000.00 a month for a memory care unit... Unbelievable!!! I am at lost of what to do to help my parents. I'm asking for any help anyone can give.........
