On June 8, 2025, Daniel experienced a severe motorcycle accident when a car abruptly entered his lane in an attempt to avoid a collision. This collision resulted in Daniel colliding with another vehicle, which abruptly stopped. Unable to avoid the subsequent collision, Daniel was thrown over his handlebars and slid and rolled approximately 50 feet on the highway. This incident caused him to sustain fractures in both his tibia and ankles, as well as six ribs. Additionally, he developed severe road rash that covered both arms.

Following the accident, Daniel underwent two major surgeries to repair his fractured tibia and ankles, as well as to treat his road rash on his arms. Daniel was an active individual who enjoyed riding motorcycles with friends, taking his girlfriend on short road trips, and spending time with his family for pool nights and engaging in meaningful conversations.

However, this accident has significantly impacted Daniel’s life. He faces a lengthy recovery journey, with the primary challenge of learning to walk again. Additionally, he requires daily treatment for his road rash. Consequently, Daniel will be unable to work for several months, potentially extending to a year.
