Hello dear friends, after many requests for Julie Hayes to record her beautiful music, the cogs are finally set in motion and planning is underway! I'm sure many of us would agree that we are looking forward to seeing this happen! One of the greatest obstacles to recording for a musician, is gathering the funds to bring it all into fruition.. unless of course you have your own gear and the means to record it all yourself! So, we are putting together this gofundme campaign so that you can help out with the costs of recording in the studio and making it all happen! Galactic amounts of gratitude to everyone who keeps patiently waiting - we are all very excited to see and hear Jules take her music to a whole new level with a brand new recording to share with the world, and most importantly, to the close community who are so dear to her heart.
Julie has been playing music for most of her life since the teenage days, and now dedicates most of her waking hours to working one on one with people to connect with their voice and sing, curating and facilitating group song journeys, retreats and her weekly song circle which is loved by many regular participants who have become like family over the past two years since its humble beginnings. Jules is also passionate about singing and songwriting and is inspired by nature and a deep connection to spirit and the human experience. She has a compassionate soul and thrives on seeing people light up and find courage to sing their song.

There is a community that has formed around the music of Julie Hayes and her offerings. Her music brings a message of healing, inspiration and hope to many, as well as honouring the light and dark, our spirit and humanness. It is those who have become her nearest and dearest who will find the most immediate joy in seeing her music recorded, however the music will also be able to reach a wider audience through digital distribution platforms and online stores.
The funds will be used to help cover the costs of recording and mastering Julie's debut EP, starting with the single 'Hold Me'. To complement the release, there will be a high-quality music video along with other elements like a website, photography and album art.
Receiving your support towards making this recording vision a reality would be very warmly received , with gratitude, as this has been a long time dream. In addition to having a unique musical offering for her community, having her music recorded will be a great compliment to Julie’s musical profile and help open doorways for her music to reach new places throughout the globe in a time when music that provides inspiration and nourishment for the soul is so needed, for the healing of humanity.
To receive support towards your life passion project is one of the greatest gifts you can offer to help out a musician with a vision! For this you will receive infinite gratitude from Julie and this will no doubt be infused in the recordings as her gift to you in exchange for your contributions. Your donations are appreciated, large and small.

About Julie Hayes:
Of Irish origin, the tradition of storytelling is embedded deep within Julie Hayes’ core. Whether captured by her hypnotically, haunting melodies or inspired by her poetic twist on life’s mysteries, prepare to be swept up in an emotive, atmospheric haze.
Her musical roots of folk and rhythm stem from a culture as old and timely as the misty mountains. Having drawn inspiration for her vocal style from artists like Eva Cassidy and Florence Welch, spacious melodies allow you to truly hear the song’s intent. Fuelled by a passion to express with vulnerability, her lyrical rawness and open heart is engaging and deeply moving. Julie's dynamic approach guides the listener from contemplation to celebration. Expect moments of stillness that give rise to dancing for nobody other than yourself.
In 2002 an innocent back-packing adventure to Australia became the stepping stone Julie longed for, where she could uncover a musical landscape with no limits. Now, a resident in Australia, her passion extends beyond music and entertainment, creating intimate, lush, inviting spaces where community can gather and connect with their deeper feelings. Having produced 2 cross-arts shows 'Vulnerable Love' and 'The Art of Heart' and witnessing the impact on the audience, her creative focus now leans toward healing.
An advocate for freedom of expression and conscious communication, Jules also offers voice and creativity sessions and community song circles, where others can delve into their own unique sound and rhythm. Underpinning her style of facilitation is the idea that "there is no good or bad, only thinking makes it so". Rather than trying to 'get better' (the implication being that we aren't good enough now) the invitation is to explore with curiosity and openness...feeling the sound rather than evaluating it, relaxing rather than reaching. That way, we can accept where we are in the moment and express ourselves without fear of judgement.
