Ruby Rose Peterson

My name is Ruby and I came into this world and blessed my family’s life on September 25, 2021. I was born with a really special heart that needed some extra love from my doctors at Mayo hospital in Rochester, Mn.

My second stay at Mayo started on February 1st and after 2 surgeries and countless other invasive procedures and other health hiccups I’ve been through more than most adults have…and yet I still continue to smile through it all.

We weren’t expecting to be at the hospital this long and my mom and dad have given up a lot to be by my side and comfort me. I can’t wait to be back home with my parents, brothers, and sister.

My dad keeps telling me stories about the random acts of kindness that he keeps experiencing during my heart adventure and it has made my parents feel so humbled and supported.

My extended family wants to keep the support and kindness going and thought this site would be a good way to do that.

Thank you for caring about me. I can’t wait to show off my fancy, fixed heart!!!
