My name is Sara Hatfield, and I never imagined I'd be writing something like this. I've recently been diagnosed with multiple myeloma, a serious and life-altering cancer that affects the bone marrow and weakens the immune system.

Simple things I used to do without thinking now take more effort, and some days just getting out of bed feels like a victory. This diagnosis has affected my ability to work consistently, and it has made basic tasks feel overwhelming at times. Aside from the physical aspect, the financial burden has grown heavier and heavier. Between specialist appointments, labs, imaging, treatments, medications, transportation, and the ongoing care I need, my medical bills have started to pile up faster thon I can keep up with. Even with insurance, the out-of-pocket cost are overwhelming. I am starting this GoFundMe because I truly need help. Every contribution will go directly toward my medical expenses, treatment, and the basic costs of living while I focus on fighting this disease and trying to stay strong. this has been by far one of the hardest things that I’ve had to deal with but I’m determined to keep fighting and keep going!
