Courage, a boy, and his sled

"Let's play hockey!" takes on a variety of meanings for the Cunningham family. This family was blessed with three athletic, beautiful, and courageous boys. For the eldest two, "Let's play hockey!" means hitting the ice with blades strapped to their feet, and for the youngest one that means using a sled to accept and conquer his battle to keep up with his big brothers and continue his dream of growing up to be a hockey player.
In October of 2013, this hockey family was given the news that Liam has Polyostotic Fibrous Dysplasia. This bone disease has resulted in 4 bone breaks and 2 complex surgeries since diagnosis. With this diagnosis, also came a creative way to continue Liam's love for the game-sled hockey. Liam has embraced this opportunity and was ready to hit the ice again this season.
Just today, Liam was told that a new fracture and bowed femur makes continuing sled hockey dangerous to his long term health. A new protective sled would allow Liam to continue playing the game he loves. Please help the Cunningham family with the cost of a new sled, as well as with transportation, medical bills, and time away from work. Thank you on behalf of the Cunningham family and their extended hockey family.
