My name is Trace Harvey, I am Jamaican-Canadian. I'm from St Catherine's, Jamaica and I currently live in Ontario, Canada. I am raising funds to help my family and relatives who are deeply affected by the disaster that hurricane Melissa has caused.

My family and relatives in Jamaica have been devastated by Hurricane Melissa. The storm destroyed homes, ripped apart roofs, and left several of my loved ones with absolutely nothing. Some are now without running water, without electricity, and without a safe place to stay. They are trying to survive with only the clothes they had on when the hurricane hit.

I am raising this money because my family urgently needs help. Many of them have lost their homes and belongings, and they do not have the resources to rebuild on their own. They are strong, resilient people, but the damage is overwhelming, and they cannot recover without support.

Where the money will go:

Rebuilding and repairing homes (roofing materials, lumber, tools, and safe construction help)

Basic necessities for those who lost everything (clothes, food, bedding, kitchen essentials)

Clean water and hygiene supplies for relatives without running water

Temporary shelter support for those whose homes are not safe to live in

Transportation and emergency costs to help family members get aid, supplies, and safe housing

Every dollar will be sent directly to my family in Jamaica to help them rebuild their homes and restore basic living conditions. I will share updates as funds are distributed so supporters can see the impact of their generosity.
