Support for Patricia Moran Cupp

On Wednesday, August 25th, Pat was admitted to the ER at SNG and has since been in the hospital battling for her life against covid pneumonia.

 

Pat can't breath on her own and needs a bipap most of the time everyday. Her oxygen levels have been unpredictable: some days its stable and other days it declines. Last Wednesday, her doctor said that her lungs had  damage and may need higher doses of steroids for 3 days and more treatments. If no progress, he advised she may look into a double lung transplant for long term recovery. Pat was then recommended to a Fairfax hospital for more treatment and/or the possibility for the double lung transplant. This hospital is holding her case for the moment after determining her lungs still have a chance to heal on their own and advised to continue current treatment for the next 30 days. If no improvement after, they would reevaluate her again for the transplant.

 

Pat's husband Paul and their children Dylan and Isabelle are all rotating shifts staying bedside with Pat to keep her fighting. We ask for continued prayers, love and support for Pat.
