Our friend and colleague Kyle Brown suffered an unfortunate scooter accident last week. He is recovering from a badly broken leg and two surgeries so far, and will need months of recovery which means he will not be able to work in the same capacity for quite some time.
The service industry is a place where we create memories, make connections, earn a great living, and find our chosen family. But the unfortunate part about the hospitality world is that our bodies are our most important tool, and if we get hurt, we become unable to work at all. There is little help for service industry professionals who are incapacitated, so it is our duty to help each other in these times of need.
If you have met Kyle, you know that he works incredibly hard. If you have been in presence even just once, you know that Carbone is his home, his family, his pride and joy. His absence will be missed during his period of rest and recovery. He will need our help to pay medical bills as well as general living expenses.
We will be so grateful to you for helping one of our family members.
