Elderly man taken advantage of

I am a 78 year old man who live in New York all my life work and decided to move to Florida to live out the rest of my years. I purchased my first home and I got blindsided  with a roof that they know was no good a hot water tank that was no good no washing machine or dryer that doesnt work and no one want to ensure the house because of all the problems.  I am left with  no money.
