Hello friends, We are reaching out to all of you to share something very close to our family. We know these last few months have effected everyone and everyone’s loved one’s differently, we respect supporting each other in different situations throughout this time. Unfortunately there are some circumstances that have become more complicated for our family and more specifically our brother Gary. As some of you know Gary was diagnosed with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma at the end of February. This diagnosis couldn’t have come at a more scary time. With everything around us being uncertain, a loved one having Cancer is the last thing you’d expect. Both Gary and his girlfriend Courtney of 6 years, have had to stop working due to covid-19. Leaving little options for them in order to keep Gary’s immune system safe and strong enough for chemotherapy. During this period of not working and waiting for unemployment, Gary under went an aggressive and major surgery to help in the diagnoses and treatment of his Cancer. He also had to change health insurance during this time, due to unforeseen circumstances that particular surgery was not covered by his insurance. Gary has been continuously fighting everyday and receives chemotherapy every two weeks. His current insurance has been able to cover a small amount of the costs, unfortunately it doesn’t cover everything. Gary is doing his best, with him and Courtney applying for several medical grants/ medical assistance programs. But with so much stress on the medical system right now, it is going to take much longer than expected for assistance. Gary has had an unbelievable positive outlook and an amazing spirit throughout all of this. He has a stellar support system from his loved ones, friends, and family. We our looking for support so Gary’s worries will not be medical bills, but WINNING the fight against cancer. We are sharing this for anyone in the position to support Gary in anyway. Sharing this is very personal and difficult, not only for us as a family but especially for our Gary. We are a family of love.
