Please help Sherman win his fight against cancer

In this picture you can see that Sherman Crews felt truly blessed to be able to celebrate Christmas 2021 with his lovely wife, children and grandchildren. He hopes to be a part of many more Christmas celebrations to come, but he is going to need your help to make that happen. I am very sorry to say that on June 29, 2022 Sherman was diagnosed with abdominal cancer. He has already had one serious surgery which resulted in a 17 day hospital stay, and he has just begun extensive months long chemo treatments. Even with insurance, the medical bills are adding up because of high copays and deductibles.
Sherman and his wife, DeAnna, are so proud of their small metal fabrication company that they started almost 10 years ago in their garage. I was most fortunate to come across Sherman and DeAnna in my long search for a metal fabricator. In my work, I help individuals with complex joint conditions to be as functional as possible. To maximize the effectiveness of my work, I dreamed of creating equipment that would allow me to execute corrective exercise movements with extreme precision. Sherman’s collaborative approach was key to making these dreams come to life. From the beginning, it was obvious that they are amazing in their field and amazing people. During our 7 years of working together we grew to be friends, so I was shocked to hear of his challenges and wanted to help. A bit more about their story…
In addition to volunteering their time regularly, each year they would donate some of their services to area churches, as they truly believe in giving back to God. Unfortunately, they are not able to continue with their volunteer work or their fabrication business during this next unexpected chapter in their lives, as Sherman is unable to do the physical labor the job entails and DeAnna will need to serve as Sherman’s primary caregiver. These limitations regarding their capacity to work means their company insurance premiums will be a great burden. They are hoping to be able to transition quickly to a healthcare marketplace plan, but their deductible will start over at that time. Sherman will qualify for Medicare in late February, but life will be extra challenging the next 6 months before that option becomes available.
Sherman and DeAnna are both ready for this fight, but they will need prayers, encouragement and a great deal of financial help along the way. The quality of Sherman's care over the next 12 months will be very important and expensive. Please join their team by donating and/or sharing Sherman's story today. Thank you so much for your time and support. Together we can make this happen.
