YWAM Orlando

       And I'm off, off to YWAM Orlando!!
       For those of you who may not know what YWAM is, it stands for "Youth With A Mission", and prepares youth and young adults for the missions field. 
       I will be in Orlando, Florida for a total of three months, starting this January, for my lecture phase of the DTS (Discipleship Training School), and will then be overseas for two months, for my outreach phase. The lecture phase of this program is focused on leading me closer to GOD and will give me a great opportunity to grow spiritually. The outreach phase of this program will give me the opportunity to share my faith, and put into practice that which I learn in the lecture phase. 
       I am very excited for this door GOD has opened before me - this past year, I have grown more and more in love with GOD, and I am very eager for this program to begin so I can grow even more in my walk with Him. 
      Just as I am excited for self-growth, I am also very excited for the many opportunities I will have to minister to others through this program. During the lecture phase, I will have time to engage in the community, being able to love on them, as well as minister to them. During the outreach phase, I will have more opportunities to love and minister to many people who are unreached. I am really hoping to see many come to Christ during my time here. 

       Unfortunately, YWAM is not cheap. I need your help! In order for me to be able to do all of this, I am needing to raise quite a bit of money. I am needing $3,095 for the lecture phase, due in the beginning of January. And the outreach phase will not be due until February. Since I do not yet know specifics about my outreach location, I do not yet know the exact cost for this portion of the program. Going off of YWAM Orlando's website, I was able to make an estimate of the total amount I'd need for my overall DTS (both lecture and outreach phase included). $9,195 is the amount I have calculated for the most expensive route of this program.
       GOD is faithful. I know He will come through. He has led me to this door, and I know He will provide all that's needed; I am trusting in Him. But I also believe that He wants to use some of you to help me get there, to provide what is needed. I ask you to pray and ask GOD if you are one He is wanting to use for this specific opportunity, and if He is asking you to give, I ask that you please obey His prompting, in order to help me get to YWAM, and be used for His glory. If not being prompted to give, that is okay! I just ask that you please keep me in your prayers as I begin this journey.
       Being overseas, for two months, away from my family and all that I'm use to will be challenging - it's going to be tough - but it will also be very strengthening. I ask that you specifically pray over the outreach phase; I don't want any fears and any discomforts keeping me from what GOD's wanting to do through me. 
       I love you all and am so very thankful for each and every one of you! Thank you all for your support through this! It means a lot knowing that I have family and friends behind me as I enter into this new journey with GOD.
