Olivia Kennedy Butash was born on March 28, 2014 and died unexpectedly in her sleep on September 19, 2015.
Some of Olivia’s happiest moments were when she was cuddled in our laps as we read to her. We will never forgot her wide-eyed expressions of wonder and her sudden burst of giggles as she listened and looked at every page.
In remembrance of Olivia, and in hopes of bringing similar joy to other young children, we have decided to start this GoFundMe page for Olivia’s Memorial Fund. The funds we collect will go towards a collection of children’s books, inscribed with Olivia’s name, which will be donated to our local library or children’s hospital.
So many of you have asked us how you can show your support. This would help remind us all of Olivia’s sweet nature as we share her love of reading with others.
