Hi, my name is Aundrea, and I’m one of Alfredo’s granddaughters.
Losing someone you love is never easy. Our grandpa Alfredo was a hardworking, kind, and generous man who meant the world to all of us. Whether he was out in the garden, fixing something, or making our favorite meals. He was happiest surrounded by family and always put his grandchildren first.
He treated his grandchildren all equally and fairly — especially during Easter, where every egg had money, and every kid left with the same amount. Birthdays were special too, with our favorite meals made just for us.
After losing our grandma in 2020, a part of him faded, but the light returned when he saw his great grandkids. He welcomed everyone into his home and was always ready to feed them and slip a 5 dollar bill into their hand on the way out. (Friends and cousins of ours included)
If anyone has ever meet my father Isidro, you know especially how lucky we are to call him ours. My dad is the incredible man he is today because of the amazing example my grandpa set.
As we prepare to lay our grandpa to rest, we ask for any donation, big or small, throughout this time. We are so grateful for the years God gave us with him, and while our hearts are heavy, we find peace knowing he’s reunited with our grandma.
