Future Care For Brad
Donation protected
Last July my husband, Brad Riley was officially diagnosed with Early Onset Alzheimer's . He is 57 years old. As I look back on the last 4 or 5 years, I can see that he was showing different signs already. We are in the low income category. He is on disability and I was working and cleaning houses. As it became clear to me that I would not be able to work 7 to 8 hours a day, 3 days a week and clean 7 houses in a month, I knew i had to make some changes. I tried to apply him for Medicade several times, back each time he was denied. I got him a medical insurance policy, but that won't help later on when he will need more care. Right now he can do for himself, he just doesn't like being aloe much, he gets depressed. With both of us being CNA's in the past and having family members that had Alzhiemer's, we know what is to come. And Early Onset progresses faster. My goal is to set up a trust fund for Brad's future care.
We were married 34 years last January 18. We have 2 children, 2 children in laws and 6 grandchildren.
