Hello, my name is Keila Donis. I am currently one of the top students in 10th grade, but I've always been one of the top students in each grade. I have always been hardworking and determined to do my best in school and outside of school like playing sports or if it was just playing UNO with my friends. Since I was a little kid I knew I wanted to work in the medical field because the idea of saving a life, helping others, and possibly holding an organ always stood out to me. Knowing what I want to be when I grew up, I know what majors I have to take in college to persuade my career. I am taking an AP class and in this class we signed up for a website where colleges can see our grades and majors we would like to take in college, which is where the Univeristy of Harvard noticed my profile. Harvard has invited me to The Congress of Future Medical leaders because of my outstanding grades, determinaton, and hardwork in highschool. This Congress will take place in Boston on June 21-23 which is why I am making this fundrasier. I would like to get all the help we can get to raise money to cover the costs for my dream trip to Boston. I have 2 work-alcholic parents whom are my biggest supporters, but as much as they work, in the end the cost of this dream trip is too big for their wallets. I do feel that I will learn marvelous things by participating at this Congress and it will get me closer to my dream career of being a trauma surgeon. I am sure that this opportunity that I have been given will not go to waste. I have been taught to be a grateful person so I will appreciate every penny that is donated. Thank you to all who donate.
