Future of Taru "Coast2Coast" '24: Stranraer to Alnmouth

I am a Trustee for the Future of Taru, and have been lucky enough to visit the charity and the Primary and Secondary School that it operates in Taru, Kenya on two occasions.

This July, 2 friends and I are looking to raise £2,500 for the charity, which will go towards building a standalone dormitory at the High School.

We will be cycling 270 miles in 4 days, from the 11th to the 14th July:

This is our 4th Coast2Coast for the Future of Taru, having already cycled:

If we can hit our target (and complete the ride!), this will mean in 4 rides for the Future of Taru we will have cycled 863 miles, raising over £12,000 in the process!

We should add that we are not professional cyclists! But we are going to complete the route and hope to raise some significant funds towards this incredible cause.

So if you are able to donate a few pounds towards a fantastic charity, hopefully we can help transform the futures of the children who are the Future of Taru.

100% of monies donated will go directly into the charity. Any money the lads and I are spending on the cycling route is coming out of our own personal savings, including all of our transport costs, accommodation, food and drink, spare inner tubes and blister plasters!
