Future of Reload.it

Purpose

Reload.it's mission since the start onward, is to give opportunities for more femme-led efforts by artists and creatives, provide a platform for these artists to showcase their talents as well as learn new skills, and cultivating new experiences by bringing together new + unfamiliar faces to the larger community.

Our passion for music + the arts, our individual experiences as artists, and our love for the people around us has been the motivator in creating Reload.it - and we give many thanks to the people who have continued to champion and support us from the very beginning.

Why Funding?

We've held two majorly successful official (+ one unofficial) events + workshops since August, and we want to continue this traction with many, many more plans for the near future. Our plans include more art-related workshops taught by many of the most talented artists in MPLS (early-spring), more femme-led music + art events, and collaborations with other growing art-based community orgs.

Reload.it is striving to be a resource and tool for all. This requires fairly compensating all our featured artists of events, teachers for current/future classes and panels, and affording sufficient quality equipment for students of workshops.

We'd also use these funds for renting venues, as well as designing these spaces to be visually + sonically pleasing with installations ourselves (the vibes are in the details!)
