Future Doctor: Support Nicole's Education at UCL
Donation protected
Hello! My name is Nicole Anyanwu, and I am a graduating senior and the outgoing Academic Affairs Vice President at the University of California, Berkeley. Berkeley through its Regents and Chancellor's Merit Scholarship, enabled me to go out of state for college, and expand my opportunities and academic horizons, and it is this full-financial support that has been so integral to my success and ability to attend Cal.
The other day I was met with great news and the amazing opportunity to attend the University College of London (UCL) for my gap year before medical school, for an MSc in Child and Adolescent Mental Health, with intensive clinical/research focus. With my end goal to join the less than 800 Black psychiatric doctors in the United States, with a focus on youth and young adults, this program provides me the rare, extraordinary opportunity to engage in residency-level work and specialization before I enter medical school.
I've been blessed to have the £28,500 = $40,059.74 tuition cost covered. All that remains are the requirements for my cost of living and student visa sponsorship.
The breakdown is as follows:
UK Student Visa: £348 = $492.39 USD
Immigration Health Surcharge (NHS): £470 = $664.99 USD
Flights: £1,067.38 = 1,510.20 USD
Miscellaneous**: £12,340 = $17,459.50 USD
TOTAL: £14,573.38 = $20,620.02 USD
*£270/per week for 50 weeks for postgraduate self-catered accommodation
**UK Student Visa Requires £1,334 per month (for up to 9 months) for courses in London.
In you would like to have more details as to my accolades, please visit: https://www.linkedin.com/in/nicole-anyanwu/
Not expecting to raise this all, appreciate you support to no matter how much, and/or a boost, and am eternally grateful for all the wishes of success!
