Hi! My name is Lucas, a volunteer dog trainer of StrikeMore assistance dog training. I am raising funds to continue to train Atlas, an assistance dog in training, that has been placed with a disabled person in my local community.
We would love it if you would take just a couple of minutes to read and consider supporting our fundraising for an assistance dog.
——
Atlas is raised in a home setting in Merseyside, United Kingdom under the training of StrikeMore assistance dog training for the first 2 1/2 to 3 years of his life.
He has been socialised and trained to handle all public access environments this first year, has learnt basic obedience cues and now began working towards his KC CGC silver award.
He has been matched and is now working on his advanced assistance training, to become a fully trained medical and psychiatric assistance dog.
He will now be spending a further 1 1/2 to 2 years at my home, learning how to do specialised tasks to mitigate their new owners disabilities, as well as further socialisation in areas that his future owner visits often.
He will also have regular visits with his future owner to build their relationship and learn how to work alongside them.
StrikeMore Assistance dog training uses force free, reward based training methods for all aspects of socialisation and training.
The target goal for 2026 is set to £6000-£10,000. All donations towards this will go towards one year of 1-on-1 training and boarding with StrikeMore assistance dog training which includes insurance, food, vet bills, socialisation and training outings, KC CGC classes, travel costs and equipment and work gear.
Please help spread the word as this dog could change someone’s life!

We have hit 10% of our goal so far! Thank you to the donors and supporters that make this possible!
