Hi everyone, my name is Jayla, and I am an Agriculture major with a concentration in Agriculture Education.

My long-term goal is to become an Agriculture teacher, work with students, and help inspire the next generation to love agriculture, sustainability, and hands-on learning.

This semester, I experienced unexpected financial hardship that caused me to fall behind on my college balance. In order to stay enrolled and return next semester, I need to raise either $3,000 total or $600/month. I’ve been doing everything I can to handle this on my own: budgeting, working, and communicating with my school, but I’ve reached a point where I can’t meet the deadline by myself. Returning to school means I can stay on track in my program, continue my agriculture labs and fieldwork, and stay one step closer to becoming the teacher I’ve always dreamed of being.
