Furta Sacra : stop-motion film by scad students

Hi everyone! My name is Minnie, and I am the producer of the stop-motion film 'Furta Sacra' alongside our wonderful director, Ingrid Lehmann.

Furta Sacra follows the story of a wounded WWII soldier, Jean, who takes shelter in an abandoned mansion filled with paintings, artifacts, and a forgotten reliquary. This sacred catacomb saint, Hyacinthus, catches Jean’s attention with the beautiful adornments on its fleshless body. Jean's act of stealing one of its rings for his sweetheart back home results in a heart-pounding chase. Will Jean manage to escape the ancient entity?

Furta Sacra explores themes of displacement, faith, and war through the art of stop-motion animation.

With your support for our journey, we will be able to fund the project's fabrication costs and a possible festival run. Our team is thankful for the support and excited to bring this wonderful idea to life!
